Recently I have become very interested in fungi and the interconnections that they allow. I wanted to create forms that embody the movement of fungi as they grow and disintegrate. To do this I used my own body, as I often do, as a source to inspire form through movement. With these works I created movement inspired by the way fungi grow and translated the shapes of this movement into clay forms. By using clay it brings the connection back to the earth from which both the physical and source material came from.
