Fields: an abstraction

In an attempt to represent different types of natural landscapes and terrain, both those untouched and altered by man, wool and yarn are interspersed in different permutations to crate grid-like and distinctive patches of wool. A form of abstraction of the image of an aerial view of fields during the harvest season, I was interested in how the harvesting of crops could create intriguing visual textures when seen from a different perspective from above.

Yarn and cotton. 6.5 x 9cm.
